    Sports (football &festivals)
All the sports activities helped Egypt get an international position in the whole world of sports. Since these Egyptian people have different sports and activities they are known for their fitness and their high energy. The sports in Egypt remained very important for the Egyptian people and the sporting culture. Some of their sports and activities are martial arts, athletics, scouting, badminton, golf, soccer, beach handball, motorsports and a host of activities. One of the sports in Egypt that was a popular sport recreation was archery. Since Egypt lies near the Nile river it was likely that they did sports that were water related. This was true, the Egyptians loved to play games such as swimming and rowing. Soccer seems to be the most popular in modern Egypt. But a long time ago soccer was not popular but tennis, squash, and even golf was more popular.

    Hieroglyphics
LettersEnglish is based on 26 characters--letters. Letters that are combined into words...and then into sentences...which tell a story.Ancient Egyptian writing uses more than 2,000 hieroglyphic characters. Each hieroglyph represents a common object in ancient Egypt. Hieroglyphs could represent the sound of the object or they could represent an idea associated with the object.A modern type of hieroglyphic writing would be a rebus. A rebus is a picture puzzle that can be "sounded out" by reading the sounds symbolized by the pictures. When these sounds are read aloud together, the statements often becomes obvious. Alphabet characters were the basis for hieroglyphic writings. The basic hieroglyph characters are known to as the alphabet. They spell out names or anything which can't be represented by other characters. The alphabet characters are read as the sound of the object they represented.
    Numbers
The Egyptian numbering system was also based on units of 10, but instead of relying on the position of numbers to define their value, the Egyptians used different images to represent different units of 10.To write a number, the hieroglyph representing each unit of ten would simply be drawn as many times as was necessary.
    Biliterals
Biliterals are hieroglyphs which were substituted in place of pairs of alphabet characters. The sound of the biliteral hieroglyph is the same as the sound of the the alphabet characters it replaces. Biliterals 'streamline' writings by eliminating large numbers of simpler characters.
    Today
Today some people in egypt still write in hieroglyphics.

    in Egypt
Egypt is an Islamic state now, but it has Christian heritage, and was mostly a Christian country. Early apostles came to Alexandria to spread the word of God, and it was known for a land where Jesus, Mary, and Joseph traveled.
Most Christian churches aren't located in old Ciaro. More are in smaller cities, and lots of the churches are where they believed Jesus and his family made stops. Some are even made in caves, where they believed that baby Jesus had slept. Some Christian churches are more isolated, but they were made when Christianity was outlawed in the Roman empire, who ruled Egypt. Saint Mark was probably the one who brought Christianity first to Egypt, even though another saint, Appolos, came from Alexandria.
Even today, the goverment in Egypt doesnt support the Christians and Christian churches. on December 14, people fropm the Egyptian government attacked Christian churches by doing things like destroying their property, torturing them, and allowing other people to lead attacks on the Christians.
